Overview
If you need to download and install the drivers for PHP on Linux and macOS manually, packages for those platforms can be found on the GitHub release tags. Microsoft Drivers 5.9 for PHP for SQL Server is the latest general availability (GA) version. Download Microsoft Drivers for PHP for SQL Server (Windows). If the driver you are attempting to install came from the official Microsoft Update Catalog, then it would be safe to install this driver so you can go ahead and proceed with this. If you have other third party anti-virus program, I would suggest turning it off temporarily so that there would be no issues in installing the driver. Thanks for the info, however, I had already tried everything. The apple device driver was never on my computer, however, I was able to install it after installing a program called 'Driver Update' for some reason when I downloaded the 'Apple mobile device driver' it did not install, but after downloading the driver update program, there was no problem and the file installed without a hitch. Go to the driver samples page on GitHub, click Clone or download, and then click Download ZIP. Download the GitHub Extension for Visual Studio, and then connect to the GitHub repositories. Browse the driver samples on the Microsoft Samples portal. Download the WDK Insider Preview.
This download installs base drivers, Intel® PROSet for Windows* Device Manager, and Intel® PROSet Adapter Configuration Utility for Intel® Network Adapters with Windows® 10.

Note:10-GbE adapters (those that support Windows 10) are only supported by 64-bit drivers.

How to use this download
Download the self-extracting archive and run it. It will extract the files to a temporary directory, run the installation wizard, and remove the temporary files when the installation is complete. All language files are embedded in this archive. You don't need to download an extra language pack.

Version 9.2 is the latest general availability (GA) version. It supports Java 8, 11, and 15. If you need to run on a Java runtime older than that, see the Java and JDBC specification support matrix to see if there is a supported driver version you can use. We are continually improving Java connectivity support. As such we highly recommend that you work with the latest version of Microsoft JDBC driver.
